Book Presentation on Freemasonry in Hungary

Those interested in book launches on the topic of Freemasonry can usually attend such events at historical conferences or at events organized by specialized publishers. On May 18, the Symbolic Grand Lodge of Hungary organized a book presentation in the grand hall of the Mystery Hotel (the former Masonic hall. ) Three volumes were presented at the event, including George Orator’s work titled “A Noachite’s Dream.”

At the book presentation, the two books published by the Symbolic Grand Lodge of Hungary were presented to the Freemasons and interested guests in attendance, along with the educational publication titled “A Noachite’s Dream,” intended for those interested in the subject and for already initiated apprentices.

According to the recommendation: “A Noachite’s Dream” is a spiritual journey that explores the core values, symbolism, and historical role of Freemasonry in Hungary and internationally. The book is intended primarily for seekers and apprentices who wish to familiarize themselves with the fundamentals of Freemasonry.

The book was written by Thomas G. Barat (pen name: George Orator), a retired professor of communications and researcher of Freemasonry, and was recommended to readers by Dr. Attila Pók, a professor of history, deputy director of the Institute of History at the Budapest Research Center for the Humanities of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and vice president of the Hungarian Historical Society.

Quote from the book review: “To outsiders, the world of Freemasonry often seems like a secret shrouded in an impenetrable fog, while to the initiated, it serves as a moral and spiritual compass for life. “A Noachite’s Dream” seeks to resolve precisely this tension, while offering a roadmap of sorts for both “seekers” and those already on the path.”
